THIS FRIDAY, in our gallery at 100 Bogart Street, we are proud to present an art show by William Norton, MAKING THEIR MARK. The public is invited to an opening along with all the Bushwick galleries featuring live performance art and music by the Dirty Churches and Mariko Endo —Doors open at 6pm. This one-of-a-kind show runs from November 3 through December 3.
William Norton, the curator of the show, has been in talks with the 100 Bogart team since the construction process. As a local artist in Bushwick, he wanted to bring together talent from a wide variety of backgrounds. "Art can be the world's soul, one that connects across borders, cultures, ethnicities, religions and cultures...It can build community," he said in a September 2017 interview.
Some of the artists that will be featured are Michael David, Alex Dodge, Yukari Edamitsu, Ellen Hackl Fagan, Daniel John Gadd, Cake Hara, Peter Hopkins, Sandy Jimenez, Chris Ketchie, Henry Klimowicz, Noriko Nakano, Norton, Ai Ohkawara, Michael A.
