What's Wrong With Food?
What's Wrong With Food? (www/Food) is a half-day event to start a conversation on future of food, and in this case, particularly for New York City. By inviting the progress makers of the industry, the aim is to discuss the current efforts towards today’s problems and propose sustainable solutions for the future. To encourage both conversation and action, portion of the proceeds will be donated to nonprofit organizations that dedicate their efforts towards hunger relief.
www/Food will be the fourth of the series, following www/Cities, www/Fashion and www/Health. We have collaborated with Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design and Farm Soho, hosting change maker panelists including Lyft, Center for Urban Pedagogy, Edenworks, Open Style Lab, Two Blind Brothers, Startup Health, Sherpaa and many more.
www/ is created by Eray/Carbajo, an international architecture and design studio based in New York and Istanbul. In line with their mission to develop concepts that solve urban, social and environmental problems, the studio brings the process of conceptual research to a public discussion, encouraging a collaborative research and diagnosis through honest and constructive conversations.
